Star-Shaped Cinnamon Biscuits
A star-shaped cinnamon biscuit with a nutty flavour

- 150 g ground hazelnuts
- 150 g ground almonds
- 150 g buckwheat flour
- 100 g coconut sugar
- 1-2 tbsp dark rum Optional: rum aroma
- 1.5 tbsp cinnamon
- 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
- 4-5 tbsp water as required
For the icing
- 70 g powdered sugar (I recommend using powdered sugar made from xylitol)
- 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
- A little water if necessary
To make the dough, combine all ingredients in a bowl.
Form a big ball with your hands and put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 180 C.
Roll the pastry (use your hands first because the dough is a little crumbly, then help with a dough roll) and cut out star-shaped biscuits.
Bake for about 7-8 minutes.
To make the icing, combine all ingredients with a spoon and spread on top of the biscuits.
Let them cool off completely. ENJOY!
